EL MORADO NATURAL MONUMENT/ SAN FRANCISCO GLACIER/ BAÑOS MORALES

This spectacular excursion to the El Morado Natural Monument, located 93 km from Santiago, is one of the most emblematic walks in the surroundings of Santiago. We start the trek in Baños Morales, a mountain town at 1,900 meters above sea level. The path takes us to the impressive San Francisco Glacier (2,500 meters) and the Morales lagoon, of glacial origin.

Difficulty high: From 16 to 70 years old. It requires a good physical condition, without respiratory illnesses like asthma, heart problems, obesity or people who have undergone a surgical operation in recent time.
