Andes Day Volcano 8K - Cajon del Maipo from Santiago

ANDES DAY VOLCANO
CAJÓN DEL MAIPO / SAN JOSÉ VOLCANO

Our hike begins at the heart of the Andes mountain range. Starting with a medium difficult walk towards the Valle de la Engorda area, explaining different facts of the environment and formation of the mountains, until we get to a panoramic view of the San Jose volcano and the Andes mountains, in this place we will take a break to share, take photos and connect with nature. Then we will resume our way back to the van and recharged with the majestic energy of the mountains.

Difficulty medium: From 8 to 70 years old. It requires a regular physical condition, for people without respirator illnesses like asthma, heart problems, obesity or people who have undergone a surgical operation during the last six months.

Activity: 3 hour, round-trip hike 8 km.

Duration: 10 hours total

Departure: 6:30 - 7:30am.
